Bonny Eagle Key Club is participating in The Eliminate Project. The Eliminate Project strives to eliminate MNT. MNT stands for maternal and neonatal tetanus. This is a general tetanus found in newborns. Its happens when a mother is not immunized prior to birth. A newborn usually gets infected immediately after birth either by the use of non-sterile instruments or exposure to an open wound.

MNT kills more than 50,000 newborns every year. So, what can you do to help?

From the week November 30th to December 4th we will be having an Eliminate Week. During this week Key Club will be educating you on everything there is to know about those affected by MNT and what you can do to help.

It only takes $1.80 to help one women get immunized. We will have donation boxes in the office starting the Monday we get back from break (November 30th) until December 4th. Anything can help.

We will be having a spirit week as well. So Mondays spirit day, when we get back, is PAJAMA DAY.

And as a thank you for all your support and hard work we will be having a

Charity Ball on Saturday, December 5th. The ball will be held here at the high school. It will be from 7:00 to 10:00. It is a semi formal/formal attire. Tickets will be sold during lunches the week prior. Tickets are $5 on Monday/Tuesday, $7 on Wednesday/Thursday and $8 on Friday. Donations will also be accepted at the dance. It will be a lot of fun. We hope all of you can make it.

Last but not least the Top 3 donators, will receive Dunkin' Donuts each day for the week following the dance.  The winners will be announced at the dance.

Wendy’s is looking for the next class of remarkable students who excel in academics, athletics, and community involvement to receive the Heisman honors. The class of 2016 graduating seniors can apply at www.wendyshighschoolheisman.com through this Friday, October 2, 2015
