Mark your calendars! Picture re-take day is Friday, October 28th. 

Students- Are you interested in learning more about Leadership?  Would you benefit from practicing leadership skills?  Want to participate in a day of inspiration and character development? Each fall, the Hyde School hosts a Maine Youth Leadership Day, on October 28th in Bath, ME, where students from all over the state are invited to come to campus for the day and participate in workshops run by business and community leaders, as well as fellow student groups. The focus of the day will be on the importance and challenges of sound moral character and the practice of leadership, helping students develop a heightened sense of personal leadership and character.  US Senator Angus King will kick off the day with an inspirational keynote address. Lunch will be served, and the day will conclude with a student-run panel. Check out more info about the Hyde School Maine State Leadership Alliance or speak to Ms. Stevens in Student Services.

Bonny Eagle High School will host ASVAB testing for juniors or seniors who are interested. If you are working with a recruiter or may be thinking about the military for a career you may want to take the paper/pencil version. 

TESTING DATES WILL BE November 1st & 2nd during Blocks 1 and 2 (you must take the test on both days during the same block)

WEDNESDAY, September 28th is a late arrival day. There will be no AM Voc for PATHS or WRVC and classes will begin at 9:30.

Seniors.....have you signed up for your Senior Seminars? 1st seminar is Road Map to College, you can sign up on the Student Services website or go to your school email and find the link.

FAFSA Information Night tonight, September 22nd, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the BEHS Auditorium.





High School RFA auditions are being held today, September 22nd, in the BEHS auditorium at 2:15.

The first meeting of the French Club and French Honor Society will be after school today, September 22nd, in room 213. Please see Madame Thomas if you're interested but can't attend the meeting.

Bonny Eagle Swim Boosters will be hosting a 31 Bag presentation on September 27th at 7:00 PM in the MPR Room. If you are unable to attend on the 27th, there will be catalogs and order forms in the teachers rooms or see Lori Spencer or Laura Branch. This fundraiser runs from September 27th to October 14th. They make great Christmas gifts!

BEHS is going to Broadway! Join the trip to NY on November 19th to see TWO Broadway shows! See Mr. Osann for more details.

Applications for the Regional Fine Arts program are due this week. App forms are available outside the auditorium. See Mr. Osann with any questions.







Rehearsals for "Comedy of Errors" begin today, September 19th. All cast members should attend.

The National Honor Society will have their first meeting in room 308 next Tuesday, September 20th at 2:05 PM. If you can not attend the Tuesday after school meeting, please come to the Wednesday morning meeting at 7:10.



The Eagle Times student newspaper needs writers, editors, photographers, cartoonists, videographers and columnists. Come see what its all about after school on Tuesday, September 20th in Room 210B.

Bonny Eagle High School will host an Open House on Thursday, September 15th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Teachers will be available in their classrooms to meet parents and talk about their courses. There will be informational sessions for parents on the class of 2020's proficiency based grading system in the auditorium at  5:30 and 6:30. A laptop training will be held at 7:00 PM for any parents who still need to attend. We look forward to seeing everyone here on Thursday night! 

Seniors! Senior picture and quote deadline is approaching! Please send to yearbook@bonnyeagle.org by October 31 to avoid a late fee. Please also send throwback pictures! Early bird special pricing on yearbooks now until September 30.  Please bring $45 cash or check to Mrs.York in the front office.  ATTENTION ALL ANIMAL LOVERS - Please send pictures of you WITH your pet to yearbook@bonnyeagle.org.

Students with a Block 5 Study Hall or early dismissal can volunteer with the Teen Trendsetters program. Teen Trendsetters is a mentoring program where High School students read and do fun activities with elementary students at Buxton Center during block 5 once a week. Plus, it's a fun way to get community service hours! See Ms. Wade in Student Services for more information or an application. 

Last year BEHS donated 5 gallons of aluminum can tabs to the Ronald McDonald House. Can we double it this year? Containers are in the main office and Student Services office to collect donations. 



OUTING CLUB  Anyone interested in playing disc golf or minature golf with the Outing Club should see Ms. Johnson or Mr. Lucchese in Rm. 312. The roster for the trip closes on Friday, September 9th.

Activity bus leaves the High School at 4:05 pm. Students will need a signed pass from a teacher to ride the activity bus. 

September 7th - Laptop Meeting for Parents 10-11 am

September 8th - Laptop Meetings for Parents 6 pm and 7 pm

September 12th - Picture Day for all students

September 15th - BEHS Open House 5-8 pm
