Congratulations to the Robotics Team!

Congratulations to our Robotics Team for much success this season.  

With Advisors Mr. DiRenzo and Mr. Colburn, our Robotics Team with our trusty robot - BERT, went to the 1st competition in Reading, Mass., and then onto the 2nd competition in Lewiston, Maine, finishing both competitions at #1 out of 40 teams!  

They were awarded Chairman’s Award, qualifying them to be invited to the New England FIRST District Championships taking place in Boston, MA in mid-April where they will compete against 60 teams from all over New England.  

The team will then travel to Detroit, MI to compete at the FIRST Championship against 400 teams from around the world!

Congratulations and best of luck to BERT Robotics, Team 133, as they compete at the New England and national levels!  

We are BE proud of you!

Announcements - March 28, 2018


The spring blood drive will be held April 2nd from 7:30 am-3:00 pm.  Please see Ms. Cyr in room 306 to sign up to donate. You must be 17 or 16 with parental permission.  










Foreign Language Honors Society is hosting a coloring contest. .50 cents per entry and it ends on April 6th.  Winners receive a $10. Dunkin Donut card.  Go to room 213 or 209 for coloring sheets.







Are you interested in puzzles? Treasure-hunting? Easter? Money?!  Then the Class of 2020 wants you to participate in the Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt.  Pay the free for the first clue, and then embark on a hunt to find the winning egg containing the ticket to a $75.- Visa gift card!   See Mr. Phillips or any of the sophomore class officers during your lunch for more information.  Begin the hunt on Friday, March 30th for $2.

Congratulations to the BE Winter Drama Crew!

Congratulations to the following Winter Drama crew!  Season well played at the direction of our very own Mr. Osann and technical direction of Mr. Patten!

With Regional Awards:
All Festival Cast awarded to: Mia White, Eliza Fowler, March Steiger, Lakadi Reid, Michaella Tillo
Judges Commendations include: Ensemble Acting awarded to the Cast
                                      Lighting awarded to Nelly Milligan
                                      Best Live Sound awarded to Hattie Skvorak

They placed 7th overall at States at Windham HS
State Awards include:
All-Festival Cast Awards: Mia White and Alison Jones
Judges Commendations:   Set Painting & Construction, awarded to Stagecraft Class
                                        Set Design, awarded to Stagecraft Class

Report Cards Were Distributed Today

Report Cards are being sent home today with your student from Homebase.  A digital copy can also be found in Synergy under the report card tab.  If your student failed a course and is being recommended for Credit Recovery, you will be receiving a letter from the Student Service's office.

Announcements - Wed, March 21st

Counselors are not making appointments to meet with students for schedule changes. If you need to make a schedule change, go to the lobby at the beginning of the block of which you need to change your class.

TONIGHT!!!    Second Annual Hoops for a Cause game. Middle School staff vs. High School staff. Doors open at 6:30pm, game begins at 7:00pm. It is a $2.- admission, please come support our community.

Announcements - March 19th

It’s that time of year again! Anyone interested in participating in Ultimate Frisbee should report to Mr. Droggitis’ room 229 after school on Tuesday, March 20th for a quick informational meeting. Ultimate Frisbee Club is open to boys and girls of all skill levels.






The Foreign  Language Honor Society is hosting a coloring contest open to everyone. It is $0.50 per entry. There will b e four winners, each receiving a $10 Dunkin Donuts gift card. See Mrs. Mazzarese in room 209 for more details! This contest ends on March 28th.



Congratulations to the Jazz Band for their performance at the State Jazz Festival on Saturday. The band received a 1 rating (the best possible) and a plaque for a Bronze Medical Performance. Special congratulations to Taylor Milliken for receiving a trophy for a soloist award.




Spring Athletes, if you have not signed up with the athletic office for your spring sport, do so as soon as possible.  First day for spring sports is next Monday, March 26th. Athletes without current physicals on file or completed registration packets turned in will not participate until those are received.

Announcements- Monday 3/12/18

REMINDER:  We do have school this coming Friday!!


Because school was cancelled last Thursday, School Counselors will be outside the cafeteria ONE LAST TIME today during lunches to make schedule changes for next trimester. If you had trouble last week finding some of yo9ur course requests in Synergy, please try to add them today.  Technology worked over the weekend and hopes it has solved the problem. Any students who still have an issue, please make sure you meet the prerequisites (including grade level). The exception is freshmen who want to request AP US History. Those students need to get Mr. Greene’s written permission on their Course Selection Forms and turn them in to Student Services to be added.

The freshman class will be holding a cornhole tournament after school on March 14th and 15th from 2-4pm. Cost will be $5 for a team of 2. Sign up will take place from March 5th to March 13th during lunches or after school in Mr. Cobleigh’s room, which is room 124. There will be no sign up on the day of the tournament. See Mr. Cobleigh or any of the freshman class officers if you have any questions.

Attention Model UN members: Tuesday, March 13th there will be a mandatory fundraising meeting for the students participating in the upcoming bake sale, after school in room 222.  If you cannot attend, email Ms. Dolan immediately. On Thursday, March 15th there will be a mandatory Full Club meeting, also after school in room 222. If you cannot attend this meeting please email Mr. Mathieu.

A group in Ms. Echgavez’s block 1 art class will be selling bracelets for a dollar. The money raised will be going to Woodfords Family Service to help an array of clinical, behavioral health th through March 16th,
and educational programs that assist over 1,500 children, youths and adults living with autism, and other developmental disabilities across the state. They will be selling the bracelets during all lunches next week from March 12.

Announcements 3/1/18

Spring sports begin March 26th
-We have baseball, softball, lacrosse, tennis and outdoor track and field.
-If you did not sign up for your spring sport in the cafeteria during the lunches on Tuesday, then you should sign up in the athletic office between classes or after school to confirm your physical exam and registration paperwork is up to date. Any athletes with outdated physicals will not be permitted to begin on March 26th.
-Player information meetings are posted in the athletic office.
This week: girl’s tennis is Thursday, March 1st in Room # 13 after school.
Boys and girls outdoor track is Friday, March 2nd in the cafeteria at 2:30pm


Raffle: Do you want to win a $25.- gift card to Aroma Joes? If so buy a raffle ticket at lunch next week for only 50 cents or 5 for $2.-




Badminton Tournament:


Wanna defeat your enemies in a brutal showdown. Sign up for the badminton tournament during lunch inside the cafeteria, or in Mr. Phillip’s room. Two people per team and sign up fee is only $5.-  The tournament will be from March 6th to the 8th after school.





School Counselors will be outside the cafeteria to make schedule changes for T3 during lunches on Friday, March 2nd, Thursday, March 8th and Friday, March 9th. After March 9th, schedule changes will only be made during Add/Drop on March 20th and 21st.

Interested in hosting an exchange student, this is your opportunity: French students are coming to MSAD 6 from April 19th thru May 6th. We are sdeeking host families willing to share their hearts and homes and American culture with a teen from France. The students will attend classes at BEHS and share their French language and culture with you. The students do not have to have their own room, they can share with another student. Attention all baseball players! There will be a pre-season meeting for all players interested in trying out on Tuesday, March 6th right after school in the gym. Any questions see Coach Hession.



Bonny Eagle High School present “Mr. Bonny Eagle” March 16th in the BEHS Auditorium. Starts at 7:00pm, tickets are $5.- for students, $7.- for adults. Food and drinks sold by the Freshmen and Sophomore classes.  All proceeds benefit the Student Council and the Class of 2019.

Are you interested in learning more about the legal system? Thinking about wanting to pursue being a lawyer or investigator? Sign up for Mock Trail when registering for courses soon. Mock Trial is a course where the students prepare, defend, and prosecute an actual court case during the Maine Mock Trial Competition in November. We compete with other schools.
