Announcements 11/29/18

Did you want to join the Ski Club? This is the week to do it!! All Ski and Snowboard Club permission slips and paperwork are due by November 30th. Please make sure the packet is complete and turned in to Mrs. Barrows by Friday.


Come to the third annual Holiday Movie Night, put on by the Class of 2020. This year we will be showing the Polar Express in the auditorium Thursday, December 13th, 4-6pm. Free admission and refreshments will be sold at the door.


To all AP students. Friday is the deadline to pay only the first half of your exam and have the half waived.

Announcements



Senior pictures are due by November 30th because we want to be able to get their pictures taken before all the fall colors leave. We will make every effort to get the pictures in, but we need every picture in by the deadline.

A reminder to all students that it is very important for you to check your school gmail for information from Student Services.  Student Services connects with students through gmail on a regular basis.



The Spring ECAP/Early College Aspirations Program schedule is listed on the Student Services website. Check it out and contact your counselor if you are interested in taking a class.


We begin Winter Sports Pre-Season  on Monday, November 19
Basketball, Winter Cheerleading, Ice Hockey, Swim, Wrestling, Indoor Track

Please help remind our winter student athletes to be sure they are ready for Monday with their Family ID online registration complete and a current physical on file.

Those athletes who do not have a current physical on file or have not completed the Family ID online registration will not participate until those are complete.

Re-Take Day Student Pictures are in!  Students should see their 1st or 2nd block teacher for them.  

Meningitis Vaccine  
ALL Seniors need to have received an vaccination after the age of 16 and bring in proof OR a written exemption note from their parent/guardian to the school nurse by December 1st.  Students that are out of compliance can be excluded from                                                                                              school.  This is a state law.  Pick up a                                                                                        exemption form in the Main Office

ATHLETIC OFFICE:


Attention Winter Sports Athletes:
If you have not signed up for your winter sport, please do so immediately. Here at Bonny Eagle for winter sports we offer basketball, cheerleading, wrestling, swimming, indoor track and field, and ice hockey. We have online registrations now available. Every winter athlete must register online with their parent or guardian. Please go online and register if you have not done so already. We will host player information meetings in the next few weeks. Find those posted in the athletic office soon. First day for winter sports is Monday, November 19th. Online registrations need to be done by November 15th or the student athlete will not participate until it is complete.

Open Gym begins this week after school., All students are invited to participate in open gym. It is also a chance for all students to get some conditioning to be ready for your season. We will have open gym after school Monday thru Thursday next week, and Thursday the following week.  Come join the fun.


Attention all Bonny Eagle students! The Class of 2021 will be holding a Dodgeball Fundraiser on November 13th and 14th. Participants will sign up in groups of 5, and will then compete in a bracket-fashioned competition. The first team to completely eliminate the other, or the team with the most participants remaining after 10 minutes will win, and move on. The cost of participating is $10.- per team. Each member of the winning team will receive a gift card. Snacks and drinks will also be available at the tournament, and all are welcome. Please see Mr. Cobleigh or any of the sophomore class officers if you have any questions.


No PM Westbrook Vocational classes tomorrow... Thursday, Nov 8th, due to their Parent/Teacher conferences.  If you want to leave at that time to go home... please bring a parent note into the main office in the AM.


The Veteran's Day Ceremony is Friday AM.  All welcome to attend.  It starts at 9:30.

Resilience the Movie TONIGHT

Reminder:  Tonight there will be a free public showing of the movie "Resilience" at BEHS starting at 7:00pm.  This one-hour documentary is timely and is relevant to many students in our school community.  An optional discussion will follow and refreshments will be provided.
