BERT qualifies for the FIRST Robotics Championship in St. Louis ranking 23rd of 175 New England teams and winning the Judges Award at the NE District Championship in Worcester, MA Saturday.

This was BERT's 3rd competition of the 2015 season with their robot BOUNT-e "the quicker picker upper". At the District Championship BERT competed with 60 New England teams and won the Judges Award given for "a team whose unique efforts, performance, or dynamics merit recognition yet do not fit into any of the existing award categories".  They are one of seven teams qualifying for the world championship from Maine.

Their next competition will be the FIRST Championship at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, MO.
