Our homecoming week began on Monday with the dress-up theme being Red, White, and Blue.  The other spirit dress-up days are Mainer Day, Blackout Day, Formal Wear Day, and Green & White Day.  Students are having fun after school making hall decorations and spreading school spirit and pride. Currently the seniors are rocking the lobby with school spirit.

We have our fall teams competing throughout the week and on Friday night Massabesic comes into town to play our football team coming off a big win over Bangor. On Saturday the Boys Soccer teams will play Sanford, and Volleyball will play Wells. On Saturday our annual parade will begin at 9 a.m.  We hope the community comes out for the parade and helps us to celebrate the theme of the parade, patriotism.  Each class is creating a float representing patriotism that goes along with our BE school and community pride. The homecoming dance will be held at the high school from 7 to 10:30 and will conclude our 2016 celebration.

We are looking for people to join the Bonny Eagle Math Team.  We are all about being a fun place to learn and improve you math skills.

Here are the details:

We are available for practice sessions each Wednesday after school in either 314 or 310.  We would like everyone to attend, but if you can't make each practice it doesn't mean you can't be on the team.  Everyone is welcome, whenever you can make it.
We have 5 regular season meets:
10/7 - Cheverus
11/4 - Casco Bay
12/9 - McAuley
1/27 - Portland
3/9 - Waynflete
and on 4/5 - state meet in Augusta (all day field trip)

So, bring your friends (even if they say that they are not "good at math") - for fun, food (snacks provided) and math!  Together we can be BE strong!

See Mrs. Hayden (314) or Mrs. Prescott (310) for more information and a permission slip.
