It's Not Too Late to Attend this Fall!
As the school year winds down, many of your graduating students have decided where they will be going to college this fall. But many others are still on the fence. If your students are still undecided, we encourage them to explore SMCC and all the great things we have to offer.
Students Can Apply for Free:
- During the entire month of June
- During our On-the-Spot Acceptance Days, from 8 a.m-8 p.m. at both our South Portland and Midcoast Campus in Brunswick
- Thursday, June 23
- Tuesday, July 19
- Wednesday, August 17
What are On-the-Spot Acceptance Days?
On-the-Spot Acceptance Days are the perfect opportunity for students to take care of everything they need, at one time and in one place, to be accepted to the College.
During On-the-Spot Acceptance Days students can:
- Complete their application. We’ll help them with questions and waive the application fee.
- Take their placement tests. Testing is available from 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
- Start the FAFSA process. Financial Aid staff will be available to help answer their questions.
- Sign up for New Student Orientation. They will register for classes at their orientation session.
During On-the-Spot Acceptance Days we ask that students bring:
- Proof of their high school graduation (final high school transcript, diploma or GED)
No appointment is necessary! They can stop in anytime during these days from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. |
